How do you understand or prepare for your upcoming referee?

I create reports that include unique data to help objectify and profile the team of officials that have been assigned to your upcoming game. The reports demonstrate the value in understanding the threshold, patterns and behaviors of the profile of referee as oppose to the rules themselves. We believe delivering these pre-game offers an opportunity to help adapt to the game, as oppose to resist it or justify it post-game.

I am available to speak on my experiences of working in the niche role of Refereeing analyst. I talk through where my theory began, the sort of insights we aim to deliver to clubs and some of the real situations and strategies we have implemented (with supporting evidence). I also talk about adapting this to different leagues, standards and profiles. I have delivered across various FA’s, conferences, podcasts and webinars.
